The silent heart

<sub>She was here... again. And she knew, she should not. After all, she was not the only one mourning. And this place was only meant to bring bitter memories. But then, it was like a drug, teasing her, calling out to her and her soul was bleeding again. She remembered a time, when her name had not been carved out of history, before she became "the Uranus".
A time when her eyes had not been harsh gold and when her wings would have been too heavy to even lift them...let alone control them. It was a distant memory, half forgotten between the decades that had followed. And just once, she had wished to become...a woman again. But from that moment on, she wished for it every day. A god had not been good enough. Perfect imperfect...cold, unforgiven. And then, she was betrayed...twice. And she did not knew, which betrayal had hurt the most. And suddenly she felt, her own cold heart beating again. Thin cracks on the ice, never meant to feel again.

She knew, she had to keep her mind focused of the future. Killing...but when Uranus left, she could not help the soft whisper that escaped her lips..."Sho..." she said and it was the first time in nearly sixty years that she felt the sharp sting of salt and water on her skin again.</sub>
